Romans 12:1-2  I beg you to offer your lives as a living sacrifice to him.  … which is the spiritual way for you to worship. Do not be shaped by this world;  (niv) but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Then you will be able … and you will know what is good and pleasing to God.


John 8:31-31 “If you continue to obey my teaching,  you are truly my followers. Then you will know the truth,  and the truth will make you free.”

John 14:15-21  “If you love me, you will obey my commands. … the Spirit of truth. …. you know him  because he lives with you and will be in you. On that day you will know that I am in the Father, and that you are in me and I am in you. Those who know my commands and obey them are the ones who love me…..

Eph 1:16-20  Paul’s prayer:  asking God…. to give  you a spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you will know him better …. so you will know the hope …. that you will know how rich and glorious are blessings God has promised.  And you will know that God’s power is very great for us who believe.

1 John 5:13  I write this letter to you who believe in the Son of God so you will know you have eternal life.

Phil 1:9-11 Paul’s prayer:  ….that you will have knowledge and understanding with your love;  that you will see the difference between good and bad… that you will be pure and without wrong..

Eph 4:13b-15  We must become like a mature person, growing until we become like Christ…  Then we will no longer be babies.  We will not be tossed about … We will not be influenced by every new teaching …  Speaking the truth with love, we will grow up in every way into Christ, who is the head

Phil 2:13 (nlt)  God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

Titus 2:11-15  For the grace of God has been revealed…It teaches us not to live against God.. that grace teaches us to live in the present age…in a way that shows we serve God.

1 Peter 3:10-16  The Scriptures says. “ A person must do these things to enjoy life and have many happy days….. if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.
