UNDERSTANDING  GRACE

Eph 6:15 “On your feet, wear the Good News of peace to help you stand strong.”

John 1:14-16 “.. grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” 

Romans 3:22 “God makes people right with himself through their faith in Jesus Christ.  24 “all need to be made right with God by his grace, which is a free gift.”   28 “A person is made right with God through faith…

1 Peter 5:12 “I wrote this short letter… to encourage you and to tell you that this is the true grace of God.     Stand strong in that grace.”

Eph 1:4-14  “God gave that grace to us freely, in Christ; the One he loves.

Romans 2:4(nlt) Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you?  Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?

2 Tim 1:9God saved us.not because of anything we did ourselves  but because of God’s purpose and grace. 

Eph 2:8 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith— and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.9 (ncv) “It was not the result of your own efforts

Rom 9:16It does not,depend on human desire or effort,    but on God’s mercy.

Titus 3:5-7 “he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done,  because of his mercy….7 so that, having been justified by his grace..

Romans 4:16So people receive God’s promise by having faith.  This happens so the promise can be a free gift.”    

2 Peter 3:18 “But  grow in the grace and knowledge  of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

2 Cor 5:21-  “Christ had  no sin, but God made  him become sin so that in Christ we could become right with God. 6:1 Do not let the grace that you received from God be for nothing.”

Heb 12:15 “Be careful that no one fails to receive God’s grace   and begins to cause trouble…..

Heb 13:9 “Do not let all kinds of strange teachings lead you into the wrong way.  Your hearts should be strengthened by God’s grace, not by obeying rules…..

Gal 5:4 (msg) “When you attempt to live by your own religious plans and projects,   you are cut off  from Christ,     you fall out of grace.”
