UNDERSTAND WHAT WE ARE TELLING YOU

Acts 13:39 Brothers, understand what we are telling you: You can have forgiveness of your sins through Jesus. The law of Moses could not free you from your sins. But through Jesus everyone who believes is free from all sins.

John 3:17 “God did not send his Son into the world to judge the world guilty, but to save the world through him.”

2 Tim 1:9 God… saved us and made us his holy people. That was not because of anything we did ourselves but because of God’s purpose and grace. That grace was given to us through Christ Jesus before time began…

Eph 2:8-9(nlt) God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done…

Romans 4:16 So people receive God’s promise by having faith. This happens so the promise can be a free gift.

Romans 5:15-17 “..God’s free gift is not like Adam’s sin. ……The gift of God is different. God’s free gift ….makes people right with God……through the one man Jesus Christ.

Romans 11:6 “ ….if they could be made God’s people by what they did, God’s gift of grace would not really be a gift.” (Romans 3:22, 26)

1 Cor 3:21-23 So you should not brag about human leaders. All things belong to you… And you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.

1 Cor 4:7(ncv) “What do you have that was not given to you? And if it was given to you, why do you brag as if you did not receive it as a gift

Heb 13:9 Do not let all kinds of strange teachings lead you into the wrong way.*

Romans 2:1(ncv) “If you think you can judge others, you are wrong. When you judge them, you are really judging yourself guilty, because you do the same things they do.”

Romans 14:4, 10 “You cannot judge another person’s servant… 10 “ So why do you judge your brother or sister? And why do you think you are better than they are?

James 2:1, 9 …never think some people are more important than others. 9 if you treat one person as being more important than another, you are sinning. You are guilty of breaking God’s law.

Matt 7:2(niv) “For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
