THE  ONLY  IMPORTANT  THING  ABOUT  LIVING  IS  CHRIST

Remember how the Hebrew letter begins   It is about   JESUS!   Heb 1:1-3

Col 1:15-23  “… So in all things Jesus has first place.”

Eph 2:17-21 “Yes, it is through Christ we all have the right to come to the Father in one Spirit. 20  You are like a building….. Christ Jesus himself is the most important stone….

1 Peter 2:5 “You also are like living stones, so let yourselves be used to build a spiritual temple.…..

1 Cor 3:23  “And you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.”

Heb 2:1 “So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.”

Luke 8:18   “So pay attention to how you hear……

2 John 9b “..whoever continues to follow the teaching of Christ has both the Father and the Son.”

First part of verse “Anyone who goes beyond Christ’s teachings and does not continue to follow only his teaching does not have God.”        (1 John 2:24, 28)

Jude: 3  “ I want to encourage you to fight hard for the faith that was given the holy people of God once and for all time.”

Rev 1:5 “He is the One who loves us, who made us free from our sins with the blood of his death.

Gal 5:1 “We have freedom now, because Christ made us free.  So stand strong.  Do not change and go back into the slavery of the law.”  (4-7)

Eph 3:12 “In Christ we can come before God with freedom and without fearWe can do this through faith in Christ.”        ( James 2:12-13)

Heb 10:19 “… we are completely free to enter the Most Holy Place without fear because of the blood of Jesus’ death.”           (Heb 9:12)

1 John 3:21 “if our hearts do not make us feel guilty, we can come without fear into God’s presence.”

1 John 4:17 “This is how love is made perfect in us: that we can be without fear on the day God judges us,  because in this world we are like him.”

A warning to be careful with our freedom:

1 Cor 8:9 “Be careful that your freedom does not cause those who are weak in faith to fall into sin.”

1 Peter 2:16 “Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as an excuse to do evil……

2 Peter 2:20 “They were made free from the evil in the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  But if they return to evil things and those things control them,  then it is worse…..
