FREEDOM  IN  CHRIST

Remember:

Act 4:12  “Salvation is found in no one else,  for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”  

Heb 2:1  “We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard………..       Luke 8:18                     2 John 9 

Heb 9:12   Christ entered the Most Holy Place only once…. His sacrifice .. set us free from sin forever.

2 Cor 3:17    The Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.   (9-18)

Eph 3:12    In Christ we can come before God with freedom and without fear.  We can do this through faith in Christ.   (9-12)

Gal 5:1    We have freedom now,  because Christ made us free.  So stand strong.  Do not change and go back into the slavery of the law.   (4-9)

Gal 3:22- 4:9  Before this faith came,  we were all held prisoners by the law.  We had no freedom until God showed us the way of faith that was coming.   … now you know the true God.  Really, it is God who knows you.  So why do you turn back to those weak and useless rules you followed before?

Col 2:6-23        Continue to Live in Christ      Don’t follow People’s rules    As you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so continue to live in him.   6-9,  13-14,  16-19,  20-23

2 Peter 2:17-21  False teachers are like springs without water… They were made free from the evil in the world by knowing our Lord …. if they return to evil ..things that control them, then it is worse for them than it was before (they knew the Lord)    (Gal 2:4)

James 2:12-13 (niv) Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, (ncv) … the person who shows mercy can stand without fear at the judgment.

1 Cor 10:23-24  We are allowed to do all things, but not all things are good for us to do….

1 Cor 8:9-13  Be careful that your freedom does not cause those who are weak in faith to fall into sin.

1 Peter 2:16-17  Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as an excuse to do evil. Live as servants of God.

Gal 5:13-15  …God called you to be free, but do not use your freedom as an excuse to do what pleases (your flesh.)   The whole law is made complete in this one command:  Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
