Always Pray and Never Lose Heart

          Be careful that no one fails to receive God’s grace and begins to cause trouble…


Luke 18:1-8   “I will see that she gets her rights.  Otherwise she will continue to bother me until I am worn out.”     8  when the Son of Man comes back, will he find faith on the earth?

Luke 11 :5-13 Suppose one of you went to your friend’s house at midnight for a loan…. your boldness will make him get up and give you whatever you need.    Ask,   Search,   Knock

1 John 5:14-15    And this is the boldness we have in God’s presence:  that if we ask God …..

                 Mat 6:8 …your Father knows what you need before you ask him.   (14-15)

                 Mat 7:7-   Ask and it will be given..

                 Mat 21:22  If you believe,  you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.


Romans 3:10  the Scriptures say: “There is no one who always does what is right, not even one.”

James 3:2     We all stumble in many ways.

Eph 2:8-9(nlt)  God saved you by his grace when you believed.   you can’t take credit for this;  it is a gift from God.     Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done…

1 Cor 4:7(ncv)What do you have that was not given to you?    And if it was given to you, why do you brag as if you did not receive it as a gift.

Luke 18:9-14  Jesus told this story to people who thought they were very good and looked down on everyone else:     “A Pharisee and a tax collector both went to the Temple to pray.”

“All who make themselves great will be made humble, but all who make themselves humble will be made great.”      (Luke 18:14,  Mat 23:12,  Luke 14:11,  Mat 18:4)  James 4:10*

James 2:1 …never think some people are more important than others.  8*-9 ..but if you treat one person as being more important than another,  you are sinning. 

Phil 2:3-5  do not let selfishness or pride be your guide.   be humble and give more honor to others.  In your lives you must think and act like Christ Jesus.

Eph 4:26-32  “When you are angry…. be sure to stop being angry before the end of the day.”

2 Peter 1:5-11 add these things to your lives … anyone who does not have these things cannot see clearly.  He is blind and has forgotten that he was made clean from his past sins.

2 Cor 4:16-18  So we don’t give up….. our spirit inside us is made new every day. …. We set our eyes .. on what we cannot see. .. what we cannot see will last forever.
