WE  RECEIVED  THE  SPIRIT  FROM  GOD  AND FREEDOM  IN  CHRIST

Acts 13:38-39  The law of Moses could not free you from your sins.  But through Jesus everyone who believes is free from all sins.

1 Cor 2:12  .. we did not receive the spirit of the world, but we received the Spirit that is from God so we can know all that God has given us.     (Rom 12:2)

1 Cor 2:15-16   The spiritual person is able to judge all things,  but no one can judge him.  But we have the mind of Christ.

2 Tim 1:7 God did not give us a spirit that makes us afraid but a spirit of power and love and self-control.

2 Cor 3:17-18  The Lord is the Spirit…. there is freedom.  .. we are being changed to be like him.

1 Cor 4:3  I do not care if I am judged by you or by any human court.  I do not even judge myself.

4  The Lord is the One who judges me. … wait until the Lord comes.

1 Cor 6:12  “I am allowed to do all things,”  but not all things are good for me to do.  I will not let anything make me its slave.          (19-20)

1 Cor 10:23-24   We are allowed to do all things, but not all things are good for us to do… (25-11:1)

31 The answer is,  if you eat or drink, or if you do anything, do it all for the glory of God.

Romans 14

1-8 … do not argue about opinions.  You cannot judge another person’s servant.

5-6 Some think that one day is more important than another.  Let all be sure in their own mind.

10-12  So why do you judge your brothers and sisters in Christ?  So each of us will have to answer to God.

13-15  … we should stop judging each other.  But if a person believes something is wrong, that thing  is wrong for him.  Do not destroy someone’s faith by …. Christ died for him.

16        Do not allow what you think is good to become what others say is evil.

17-19   The important things are living right with God..  let us try to do what makes peace and helps

22     Your beliefs about these things should be kept secret between you and God.  Blessed is the man who does not condemn himself by what he approves.

23       …Anything that is done without believing it is right is a sin.
