FREEDOM IN CHRIST JEUS THE LORD
2 Cor 3:17 The Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Eph 3:12 In Christ we can come before God with freedom and without fear. We can do this through faith in Christ.
Romans 3:22-24 God makes people right with himself through their faith in Jesus Christ..…They need to be made free from sin through Jesus Christ.
Romans 4:5 (nlt) But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners. (ncv)
1 Cor 1:30 (nlt) Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin.
Gal 3:22- 4:9 Before this faith came .. We had no freedom until God showed us the way of faith that was coming.
Gal 5:1 We have freedom now, because Christ made us free. So stand strong. Do not change and go back into the slavery of the law.
1 Cor 8:9-13 Be careful that your freedom does not cause those who are weak in faith to fall into sin.
1 Cor 10:23-24 We are allowed to do all things, but not all things are good for us to do….
1 Peter 2:16-17 Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as an excuse to do evil. Live as servants of God.
Gal 5:13-15 …God called you to be free, but do not use your freedom as an excuse to do what pleases (your flesh.) The whole law is made complete in this one command: Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
Remember:
1 Cor 2:12 “We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God…..(11-16)
Romans 8:15-19 “The Spirit we received ….makes us children of God. The Spirit himself joins with our spirits to say we are God’s children.
2 Tim 1:7-14 “God did not give us a spirit that makes us afraid but a spirit of power, love and Self-control” 13 Follow the pattern of true teachings that you heard from me in faith and love, which are in Christ Jesus.
Col 2:6-7 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
