EVERYTHING THAT WAS WRITTEN IN THE PAST WAS WRITTEN TO TEACH US

2 Cor 6:1          “Do not let the grace that you received from God be for nothing.”            Eph 1:6

Titus 2:11-15  Grace.. it teaches us not to live against God.. grace teaches us to live in the present age in a wise and right way and in a way that shows we serve God.           (14 = Col 1:22-23)

Heb 12:15 “Be careful that no one fails to receive God’s grace   and begins to cause trouble…..

Heb 13:9Your hearts should  be strengthened by God’s grace, not by obeying rules…..

Jesus said:

John 3:19-21   “People are judged by this fact: The Light has come into the world….. (13-21)

John 8:12  “I am the light of the world.  The person who follows me will never live in darkness but will have the light that gives life.”     (a Promise from God)

Eph 5:8 “In the past you were full of darkness.  But now you are full of light in the Lord.”  So live like children who belong to the light.”

2 Cor 6:14 You are not the same as those who do not believe.  So do not join yourselves to them. Good and bad do not belong together.  Light and darkness cannot share together.

Col 3:3 “…..old sinful self has died, and your new life is kept with Christ in God.  Christ is your life..

Col 3:10-17 “You have begun to live the new life, in which you are being made new and are  becoming like the One who made you.” This new life brings you the true knowledge of God.

1 Peter 3:23 “You have been born again, and this new life did not come from something that dies  You were born again through God’s living message that continues forever.

Luke 20:38 “God is the God of the living, not the dead, because all people are alive to him”

Romans 6:10-11 “….He now has a new life, and his new life is with God.  In the same way, you should see yourselves as being dead to the power of sin and alive with God through Christ Jesus.” (Romans 5:10, 1 Cor 1:30 )

Gal 5:25  “We get our new life from the Spirit, so we should follow the Spirit.”       (Romans 8:14)

Eph 2:5 “… he gave us new life with Christ.  You have been saved by God’s grace.”

Now something completely different,    Two Chapters to ponder

Job 28  “But where can wisdom be found, and where does understanding live?”

The fear of the Lord is wisdom;  to stay away from evil is understanding

Ec 7   We all must die, and everyone living should think about this.
