Remember this:
2 Cor 6:14(NCV) YOU ARE NOT THE SAME AS THOSE WHO DO NO BELIEVE
John 3:18 People who believe in God’s Son are not judged guilty. Those who do not believe have already been judged guilty…
Romans 5:8-10 But God shows his great love for us in this way: Christ died for us while we were still sinners. … we have been made right with God by the blood of Christ’s death. … He will save us through his Son’s life.
1 Peter 2:24 Christ carried our sins in his body on the cross so we would stop living for sin and start living for what is right. And you are healed because of his wounds.
1 Tim 1:15 What I say is true, and you should fully accept it: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the worst.
1 John 1:8-10 If we say we have no sin, we are fooling ourselves, and the truth is not in us. But if we confess our sins, he will forgive our sins, because we can trust God to do what is right. He will cleanse us from all the wrongs we have done.
Remember: the LORD said this: I, I am the ONE who erases all your sins, for my sake; I will not remember your sins. Isa 43:23-25
Ps 65:3 Our guilt overwhelms us, but you forgive our sins.
Ps 103:10 He has not punished us as our sins should be punished; He has not repaid us for the evil we have done.
Remember what the Prophet Jonah was mad about?
Jonah 4:2 “I knew that you are a God who is kind and shows mercy. You don’t become angry quickly, and you have great love. I knew you would choose not to cause harm.”
1 Peter 1:13 So prepare your minds for service and have self-control. All your hope should be for the gift of grace that will be yours when Jesus Christ is shown to you.
**As believers, children of God, we see ourselves as strangers/pilgrims/aliens, here in this world
(Heb 11:13, 1 Peter 2:11, James 4:4)
Eph 2:8 …you have been saved by grace through believing. You did not save yourselves; it was a gift from God. It was not the result of your own efforts, so you cannot brag about it.
1 Cor 1:31 If people want to brag, they should brag only about the Lord.
Gal 614 The cross of our Lord Jesus Christ is my only reason for bragging.
