Strange Teaching

Scripture you should know by now:

2 Tim 3:16                   Romans 15:4             Luke 8:18              John 6:29                    Mark 12:29-31 Titus 3:3-5                 1 Cor 1:30                  Eph 6:17                Lam 3:21                1 Peter 1:13        2 Tim 1:9                     Romans 7:6              2 Tim 1:7               2 Peter 3:18

Romans 5:21 Sin once used death to rule us, but God gave people more of his grace so that grace could rule by making people right with him. ..

Acts 13:39 Brothers, understand what we are telling you:   You can have forgiveness of your sins through Jesus.      But through Jesus everyone who believes is free from all sins.

2 Tim 1:9  God… saved us and made us his holy people.  That was not because of anything we did ourselves but because of God’s purpose and grace.   That grace was given to us through Christ Jesus before time began…

Romans 4:5 ...people cannot do any work that will make them right with God. … they must trust him.  God accepts their faith and that makes them right with him.

Romans 4:16 So people receive God’s promise by having faith.  This happens so the promise can  be a free gift.

Eph 2:8-9(nlt)  God saved you by his grace when you believed.      And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.  Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done…

Romans 11:5-6 …  if he chose them by grace,  it is not for things they have done.  If they could be made God’s people by what they did,  God’s gift of grace would not really be a gift.

Heb 5:12  By now you should be teachers,  but you need someone to teach you again the first lessons of God’s message.

1 Tim 6:20-21 Stay away from foolish, useless talk and from the arguments of what is falsely called  “knowledge.”    ….some have missed the true faith.

Romans 16:17-18 look out for those who cause people to be against each other and who upset other people’s faith.   They are against the true teaching … stay away from them.  Such people are not serving our Lord Christ…

2 Tim 2:11-19  … warning people in God’s presence not to argue about words…   Be a worker .. who uses the true teaching in the right way.… Stay away from foolish, useless talk, because that will lead people further away from God… they are destroying the faith of some

Acts 20:29-31 I know.. some people will come like wild wolves and try to destroy the flock.   .. some from your own group will rise up and twist the truth and will lead away followers ….

Heb 13:8-9  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  Do not let all kinds of strange teachings lead you into the wrong way.  Your hearts should be strengthened by God’s grace
