Cautions about prayer (James 4:1 – 2, 1 Corinthians 14:15, 1 John 3:22, 1 Timothy 2:8, 1 Peter 4:7)
1. Failing to ask
2. Asking with poor motives
3. Pray with understanding
4. Whatever we ask we receive because we keep His commandments (v23: the commandments are faith and love)
5. Without wrath or doubting
6. Be serious and watchful in your prayers
