OUR PRIDE IS IN CHRIST JESUS

Phil 3:1-3… We worship God through his Spirit, and our pride is in Christ Jesus.  We do not put trust in ourselves or anything we can do.

2 Tim 1:9  God saved us… not because anything we did ourselves but because of God’s grace. That grace was given to us through Christ Jesus before time began.

2 Tim 1:7   God did not give us a spirit that makes us afraid but a spirit of power and love and self-control.

Romans 7:6 …So now we serve God in a new way with the Spirit, and not in the old way with written rules.

Phil 2:5  In your lives you must think and act like Christ Jesus

Phil 3:20 .. our citizenship is in heaven  (our homeland is in heaven)

1 Peter 1:17 ...live your lives as strangers here in reverent fear.      (13-23)

Gal 6:15 …The important thing is being the new people God has made.

Eph 4:1-3  … live up to the life to which God has called  you. 

Eph 4:12 -18  We must become like a mature person, growing until we become like Christ … Do not continue living like those who do not believe….. they cannot have the life that God gives.

Eph 4:22-24 You were taught to leave your old self–  you were taught to be made new in your hearts, to become a new person.  That new person is made to be like God– made to be truly good and holy.

Eph 4:30  And do not make the Holy Spirit sad.  The Spirit is God’s proof that you belong to him.

2 Cor 5:17-6:1  If anyone belongs to Christ, there is a new creation.  .. Do not let the grace that you received from God be for nothing.

Col 3:15-16   Let the peace that Christ gives control your thinking.  

Eph 5:8-20 …So live like children who belong to the light Try to learn what pleases the Lord.  Always give thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

James 1:22-25      Do what God’s teaching says….

1 John 5:3  Loving God means obeying his commands.   God’s commands are not to hard for us.
