2 Cor 5:17-19 If anyone belongs to Christ, there is a new creation…. All this is from God. … God was in Christ, making peace between the world and himself. …
Col 3:11-17 In the new life there is no difference between (people) …Christ is in all believers, and that is all that is important. 12 God has chosen you and made you his holy people. (1Pet 1:2)
2 Cor 4:13-18 … Our physical body is becoming older and weaker, but our spirit inside us is made new every day. We set our eyes not on what we see but on what we cannot see.
Gal 5:22-26 We get out new life from the Spirit, so we should follow the Spirit.
Romans 8:14-16 The true children of God are those who let God’s Spirit lead them. … the Spirit himself joins with our spirits to say we are God’s children.
Paul’s warning: Look out for….. Stay away from
1 Cor 3:1-11 …in the past I could not talk to you as I talk to spiritual people…. You are acting like people of the world.
Romans 16:17-18 ….look out for those who cause people to be against each other and who upset people’s faith.
1 Tim 6:20-21 … Stay away from foolish, useless talk and from arguments of what is falsely called “knowledge.”
2 Tim 2:23-26 Stay away from foolish and stupid arguments… gently teach those who disagree…maybe God will let them change their minds…. And they may wake up……3:1-5 In the last days there will be many troubles… (people) will act as if they serve God but will not have his power. Stay away from those people.
Titus 3:9-11 Stay away from foolish arguments and talk about useless family histories…. After a first and second warning, avoid someone who causes arguments..
Proverbs 6:16-19 There are 6 things the LORD hates (really 7 things he cannot stand) #7 someone who starts arguments among families.
