I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, THE LIFE

John 14:6-7   I am the way, and the truth, and the life.  The only way to the Father is through me.

Heb 2:1 (msg) It’s crucial that we keep a firm grip on what we’ve heard so that we don’t drift off.

Luke 8:18 (nlt) “So pay attention to how you hear.  To those who listen to  my teaching, more understanding will be given.  But for those who are not listening, even what they think they understand will be taken away from them.”

2 Cor 3:17    The Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is,  there is freedom.

Remember where Jesus is and what He is doing:    Heb 8:1-2   sitting on the right side of God’s throne in heaven ….. serving in the Most Holy Place, the true place of worship

Heb 9:12   Christ entered the Most Holy Place only once…. His sacrifice …. set us free from sin forever.

Eph 3:12    In Christ we can come before God with freedom and without fear.  We can do this through faith in Christ.   (9-12)

Hebrews 11:1 (niv) Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Gal 3:22- 4:9  Before this faith came ..  We had no freedom until God showed us the way of faith that was coming.

John 6:28-29    The work God wants you to do is this:      Believe the One he sent.     JESUS

1 Cor 1:30 (nlt) God has united you with Christ Jesus.  For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself.  Christ made us right with God;  he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin.

Romans 4:5 (nlt) But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners.  (ncv)… God accepts their faith, and that makes them right with him.

1 Cor 8:9-13  Be careful that your freedom does not cause those who are weak in faith to fall into sin.

1 Cor 10:23-24  We are allowed to do all things, but not all things are good for us to do….

1 Peter 2:16-17  Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as an excuse to do evil. Live as servants of God.

Gal 5:13-15  …God called you to be free, but do not use your freedom as an excuse to do what pleases (your flesh.)  The whole law is made complete in this one command: Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
