Hope

Acts 26:6  “And now I am standing trial for the hope of the promise made by God to our fathers;

Acts 28:20  “For this reason therefore, I requested to see you and to speak with you, for I am wearing this chain for the sake of the hope of Israel.”

Rom 4:18  In hope against hope he believed, in order that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”

Rom 5:2  Through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God.

Rom 8:20  For the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope

Rom 8:24  For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one also hope for what he sees?

Heb 6:18  in order that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have strong encouragement, we who have fled for refuge in laying hold of the hope set before us.

Heb 6:19  This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a {hope} both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil,

Heb 7:19  (for the Law made nothing perfect), and on the other hand there is a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

1 Pet 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1 Pet 3:15  but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always {being} ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;

1 Jn 3:3  And everyone who has this hope {fixed} on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

II Jn 1:12  Having many things to write to you, I do not want to {do so} with paper and ink; but I hope to come to you and speak face to face, that your joy may be made full.

3 Jn 1:14  but I hope to see you shortly, and we shall speak face to face. Peace {be} to you. The friends greet you. Greet the friends by name.
