WHAT PLEASES GOD IS GENTLENESS
Romans 8:13-16 The true children of God are those who let God’s Spirit lead them. And the Spirit himself joins with our spirits to say we are God’s children.
Eph 4:13 … We must become like a mature person, growing until we become like Christ and have his perfection.
Eph 4:30- And do not make the Holy Spirit sad. The Spirit is God’s proof that you belong to him.
Eph 5:10-18 Try to learn what pleases the Lord. … So be careful how you live. …So don’t be foolish but learn what the Lord wants you to do.
Romans 12:2 Do not be shaped by this world; instead be changed within by a new way of thinking.
Then you will be able to decide what God wants for you…what is good and pleasing to him.
Scriptures say these things pleases the Lord.
1 Tim 2:1-4 Pray for all people … Pray for rulers and for all who have authority… This is good, and it pleases God our Savior.
Col 3:19-20 “Husbands, love your wives and be gentle with them.” “Children, obey your parents in all things”, because this pleases the Lord.
1 Tim 5:4 if a widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to do their duty to their own family and to repay their parents or grandparents. That pleases God.
1 Tim 5:8 (niv) If anyone does not provide for his relatives, especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
Heb 12:28 So let us be thankful… We should worship God in a way that pleases him…
Heb 13:15-16 So through Jesus let us always offer to God our sacrifices of praise, coming from lips that speak his name. Do not forget to do good to others, and share with them, because such sacrifices please God.
Mat 11:29 Accept my teachings and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit….
James 1:19-22 in gentleness accept God’s teaching that is planted in your hearts, which can save you
