Freedom in Christ

FREEDOM  IN  CHRIST

Heb 3:1                  All of you , who were called by God,    THINK ABOUT JESUS

Act 4:12  “Salvation is found in no one else,  for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”     

John 14:6-7   “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.  The only way to the Father is through me.  If you really knew me,  you would know my Father, too.

Col 3:1-4 Since you were raised from the dead with Christ.. Think only about the things in heaven Your new life is kept with Christ in God. Christ is your life…you will share his glory.

Col 3:10  You have begun to live the new life,  in which you are being made new and are becoming like the One who made you.      This new life brings you the true knowledge of God.

Romans 6:3-4  Did you forget that all of us became part of Christ when we were baptized?  We also can live a new life.

 Heb 2:1  “We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard….  Luke 8:18 

Heb 9:12   Christ entered the Most Holy Place only once…. His sacrifice …. set us free from sin forever.

2 Cor 3:17    The Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (9-18)

Eph 3:12    In Christ we can come before God with freedom and without fear.  We can do this through faith in Christ.   (9-12)

John 6:28-29    The work God wants you to do is this:      Believe the One he sent.     JESUS

Gal 2:20   .. I do not live anymore – it is Christ who lives in me… I live by faith in the Son of God

Gal 3:22- 4:9  Before this faith came ….. We had no freedom until God showed us the way of faith that was coming.

1 Cor 8:9-13  Be careful that your freedom does not cause those who are weak in faith to fall into sin.

1 Cor 10:23-24  We are allowed to do all things, but not all things are good for us to do….

1 Peter 2:16-17  Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as an excuse to do evil. Live as servants of God.

Gal 5:13-15  …God called you to be free, but do not use your freedom as an excuse to do what pleases (your flesh.)   The whole law is made complete in this one command: Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
