FREEDOM IN CHRIST
Heb 2:1 “We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard so that we do not drift away.
Luke 8:18 Jesus: “So be careful how you listen….
2 John 9 John: “Anyone who wanders away from this teaching has no relationship with God.”
Heb 8:1-2 Our high priest serves in the Most Holy Place, the true place of worship…
Heb 9:12 Christ entered the Most Holy Place only once…. His sacrifice , set us free from sin …
John 4:23-24 Jesus: “…true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth…. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
2 Cor 3:17 The Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Eph 3:12 In Christ we can come before God with freedom and without fear. We can do this through faith in Christ. (Col 1:13-14) (Titus 3:4-8)
1 Peter 5:12 I wrote to encourage you and tell you that this is the true grace of God. Stand strong in that grace.
Gal 5:1 We have freedom now, because Christ made us free. So stand strong. Do not change and go back into the slavery of the law. (4-9)
Gal 3:22- 4:9 Before this faith came, we were all held prisoners by the law. We had no freedom until God showed us the way of faith that was coming.
… now you know the true God. Really, it is God who knows you. So why do you turn back to those weak and useless rules you followed before?

2 Peter 2:17-21 False teachers … were made free from the evil in the world by knowing our Lord …. if they return to evil ..things that control them, then it is worse for them than it was before (they knew the Lord) (Gal 2:4)
James 2:12-13 (niv) Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, (ncv) … the person who shows mercy can stand without fear at the judgment.
1 Cor 8:9-13 Be careful that your freedom does not cause those who are weak in faith to fall into sin.
1 Peter 2:16-17 Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as an excuse to do evil.
Gal 5:13-15 …God called you to be free, but do not use your freedom as an excuse to do what pleases (your flesh.) The whole law is made complete in this one command: Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
