CHRIST’S TEACHINGS
2 John 5-6 … this is not a new command but is the same command we have had from the beginning. And love means living the way God commanded us to live. Live a life of love.
2 John 7-9 Many false teachers are in the world now…. Be careful yourselves…. Anyone who goes beyond Christ’s teaching and does not continue to follow only his teaching does not have God. whoever continues to follow the teaching of Christ has both the Father and the Son.
Luke 8:18 (nlt) Jesus: “So pay attention to how you hear. To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But for those who are not listening…….
Eph 6:15(nlt) put on the peace that comes from the Good News… (What ‘s the peace that comes from the gospel? Romans 5:1-2, Grace !!!) 17(ncv) Accept God’s salvation as your helmet, take the sword of the Spirit – word of God. (2 Tim 2:15 … Be a worker who is not ashamed and who uses the true teaching in the right way. Remember: John 1:1-4, 10-12, 14)
Heb 12:13-15 Keep on the right path… Try to live in peace with all people.…. try to live free from sin… Be careful that no one fails to receive God’s grace and begins to cause trouble…
Heb 13:9 Your hearts should be strengthened by God’s grace, not by obeying rules about food/??
Romans 5:21 Sin once used death to rule us, but God gave people more of his grace so that grace could rule by making people right with him. ..
2 Cor 6:1 … so we beg you: Do not let the grace that you have received be for nothing.
Remember: John 15:1-17 Jesus: “I am the true vine” “Remain in me and I will remain in you” “… if you obey my commands, you will remain in my love.” “I have told you these things so that you can have the same joy I have and so that your joy will be the fullest possible joy.” “This is my command: Love each other.” LOOK again at verses 7 and 16 “If you remain in me and follow my teachings, you can ask……”
1 John 3:22-24 God gives us what we ask for because we obey God’s commands…. This is what God commands: believe in Jesus … love each other.
1 John 5:14-15 …. if we ask God …..
Mat 6:8 …your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Mat 7:7- Ask and it will be given..
Mat 21:22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
Luke 18:1-8 GOD WILL ANSWER HIS PEOPLE …. when Jesus comes back, will he find faith on the earth??
