Christ Is All That Is Important

James 4:14  “…What is your life?  You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.”

Psalms 103:15-16 “The life of mortals is like grass,  they flourish like a flower of the field;  and the wind  blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.”


Matt 7:13-14 “….small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life.….

John 10:9   “I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.”

Romans 6:23 “…the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

1 John 5:11-13,  20*    “..God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son…..

Hebrews 5:9(nasb) “And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation.”

Romans 8:1-2   there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus….

Matt 19:17    “..if you want to have life forever,  obey the commands.”  (Luke 8:18,   2 John 9)

John 5:24 “…whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.                 (1 John 3:13-14)


Col 3:1-4  “...your life is now hidden with Christ in God.  When Christ , who is your life, appears,  then you also will appear with him in glory.           (1 Peter 1:13)

1 John 2:24-25 “see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you…”  “this is what he promised us– eternal life.”

Jude 21 “keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.”  

Gal 2:20  “..the life I live in the body,  I live by faith in the Son of God,  who loved me and gave himself for me.”         (Luke 21:19)

1 Tim 6:12  “Fight the good fight of the faith.  Take hold of the eternal life ..”   (Matt 10:22)

2 Cor 13:5  Look closely at yourselves.   Test yourselves to see if you are living in the faith. You know that Jesus Christ is in you– unless you fail the test. 

2 Peter 1:10-11(nasb) “for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord….will be abundantly supplied to you.”
